[18 Jun 2009|11:45pm] I'm in a lull. Not a bad one but there's some definite lull-age going on. Everything in my life is pretty great except where I am in it. I really need to be in school, I really need to move out, I really need a job that provides me with enough money to make both of those happen. I'm 23 god damnit and have jack shit to show for it. It seems like this is always the case though, I remember being "19 god damnit", where's the progress? I've achieved a lot but not in the grand scheme of things (i.e. a career or whatever). I got a handle on a booze problem that could have followed me until I was "49 god damnit", I lost over a third of my body weight, and I've got the lady of my dreams. Now that I think about it I think this lull can mainly be chalked up to the offseason and my withdrawl. My life's awesome I just need to get somewhat more of a 'real' job and be assertive and move up and go from there. My managers or whatever are younger than me and have about 100x less sense than me.
