I love the Stamkos one. Those seat of your pants falling down backwards goals are always great let alone the second whack. The Perron one really looks like something out of a video game though.

I really want this (the green one) but refuse to pay $32 for a snapback. I have a similar shirt, it's perfect for the fact that I think football helmets look cool but give a very very small amount of a shit about football.
I really like this too but fuck me if it's cold enough to ever wear it.

- I'm terrified of getting Jeremy Piven soyboobs.
- The pens need to get healthy. Or at least get killed on the games that don't start at 10:30 please.
- I've had this song in my head for about a week
- I'm really excited about downloading season 1 of Tales from the Darkside after catching a marathon on the Sci-fi channel around halloween.
- I'm excited about my possible new job.

Me, Alecia, and my sister went to the bolts/devils/halloween game yesterday. It kicked off by our tickets not being at will call (thanks eBay) but after I got more for cheaper anyway (I'm awaiting my refund from the eBay dick) I regained my thrilledness.
The arena was full of New Jersey dicks (throw a silk shirt and/or Brodeur jersey, some devil horns and/or face paint, a few "Ranger suck" chants at a game not against the rangers, and some obnoxiousness on a standard bro and there you have it). With the exception of the sharks game every bolts game we've been to has consisted of a crowd of mainly the away team's fans (myself included when we went to see the pens).
The game itself was typical NJ devils hockey. Defensive (boring) trap hockey at it's finest. The few bright spots included a penalty shot, a Steve Downie brawl, Brodeur not getting a shutout, finally getting to see a shootout, being reminded again how fucking fast Martin St Louis is and Niittymaki's amazing performance in goal. Oh and our sign getting on the jumbotron was another highlight.
My sister being the stalker that she is when it comes to meeting tweener pop punk bands didn't want to leave without trying to meet sophomore hearthrob Steven Stamkos so we waited outside the player parking lot for a while. No Stamkos but we did get a lot of autographs which was awesome. The biggest one was Lecavalier, a lot of the local people said he never stops for fans but he stopped and signed my roster card.

The biggest one for me had to be coach Rick Tocchet though. He was on the pens' second cup team, is tough as fuck, and can make spaghetti.
I would've loved to get St Louis and Ryan Malone but here are the other ones that I was able to get: David Hale, Antero Nittymaki, Mike Smith, Stephane Vellieux, Zenon Konopka, and Matt Walker.
Fun shit! Can't wait to go back and boo the caps in December.

FUCKING STOP IT ALREADY IT'S NOT FUCKING FUNNY ANYMORE.
Every "fall" I expect a degree of this shit but I always try to keep optimistic that it might actually stay under 70 for more than ten minutes. This year is by far the worst. If it doesn't get cold how the fuck are you supposed to tell one shit month from the next in this shit state?? It could be June out there I don't have a fucking clue. If there aren't these partitions between the "seasons" it's just one big linear shitsperience. There's no spring/summer/fall/winter '09 there's just hot as fuck 12 months solid with the exception of a couple of days '09.
My life is really good right now but seasons shouldn't too much of a damn luxury to ask for. I want new experiences and things to be nostalgic about etc. and I'm getting them but they all fall into this continuous never ending 75-95 degree month. October's almost over and it may as well have been a second August. November better step it's shit up.

Ever since I stopped being able to get Soulseek to work I've been so blessed by the bajillions of albums waiting to be discovered via .rar files in the blogosphere. It was an outlet for all that superscientifical rap and other semi-phases that only garner occasional listens nowadays but more consistently than anything else it has put me on to a plethora of metal albums that have never done me wrong. In my life it's always been hardcore-this folk-that hip-hop-whatever but the one thread from my adolescence on (for better or worse) is metal. Here's what I've dug up lately and loved:

Why the fuck am I not seeing this right now? I love how I work two days a week but today is one of them. If I work the 15th I'll be pissed.
In other news I'm downloading albums I've only always ever had half of for whatever reason. So far I've learned that "Fashion Nugget"'s title-ish track is awesome.

luke vibert - we hear you
I haven't heard the whole album yet but this is one of the artists who consistently gets me extremely excited to hear their next album. I've only heard a few tiddlebits but it sounds like he's adjusted his sound to cater to the dubstep phenomenon but in the way only he can.
